sunshine
Today was dark, rainy and windy. One of those days that left me feeling a little down. But at about 4:30, the clouds started to clear and the sun made an appearance. It was so beautiful and the perfect end to a dreary day.

Believe it or not, I did not photoshop these in any way. They are straight out of the camera.

A visit from friends
I'm a little behind on blogging! This tends to be a busy time of year in the world of family photography so I've been working hard to stay on top of it. But I wanted to post some photos from our visit from our good friends Mitch, Kathleen and baby Henry. It was fun to have a them here and to have such a sweet, happy baby to play with all weekend!

John and Henry jam out and sing some songs.

Henry has the longest eyelashes I've ever seen on a baby! Beautiful.

All of us!

Henry plays on the floor and gets fed grapes by dad. What a life!

Baby Girl Paityn
How gorgeous is this little girl?! And she's got great tast in clothes too :)

Wow. And her family is beautiful too.

It was great to see you again Paityn and fam!
Sneak Peek {Elkhorn, NE photographer}
I'm still working on editing this session, but really wanted to get a sneak peek up for Carmen while she waits! I'm so excited about these photos because we did a more "urban" shoot at her request. It's fun for me to shake things up a bit, so I was thrilled to do a session in a unique location like this small town's downtown.

Ok I have to show you something cool. I took a look at this shot...

and it instantly reminded me of one I took of them when baby Tyson was a newborn:

Check out the side by side comparison.

It's kind of freaking me out how similar they are! The colors and positions are exactly the same!!
Ok moving on...

I hope everyone had a great Halloween! John and I laid low, carved pumpkins and ate handed out candy. This was one of the only years I can remember that I didn't dress up in a costume. But there's always next year! I better start planning now.
