4th of July
Two of my best friends came to visit from Peoria for the 4th of July. Amy, Leslie and I were college roommates and have remained great friends ever since. They were also bridesmaids in my wedding! So I love it when the three of us get a chance to hang out.
I got kind of bored waiting for them to drive here, so I made a little decoration.

When we got home I had a plan. We saved some sparklers so I could experiment with my camera. I set it on a sloooow shutter speed and we played!
How fun is that? I could have sparkled for hours, but we may have set the deck on fire.
It was a great 4th of July with my girls!
