Shutter Sisters book giveaway
Monday, September 20, 2010 at 06:06PM Some of you may know that I am a contributor on ShutterSisters.com, where I have been writing two photography-related posts every month for a few years. It is a wonderful community and resource for women who are interested in photography. The goal of the site from the beginning has been to create a warm and inviting place for everyone, regardless of their skill, equipment or experience. I know we have achieved that goal and am proud to be a small part of it.
I am also thrilled to be a part of the newly released Shutter Sisters book, Expressive Photography: The Shutter Sisters' Guide to Shooting from the Heart. It really is a beautiful book and as a graphic designer myself I was highly impressed by the design of the book as well as the thick silky paper. I know most people wouldn't get excited about paper, but I do! The book is full of stunning photos, essays and practical information.
And best of all...I received two copies of the book and am giving one away here! Leave a comment here by Monday, September 27th and I will choose a random winner. To enter, just tell us one thing you love about Fall. I love wearing socks again after several months of going without.

Congrats Paige! That's awesome! You're an amazing photographer and I enjoy watching you grow your business!
Congratulations on the book Paige!
First, congratulations on the book and being published. That's a dream I hope to accomplish someday. :)
Thank you for the chance to win a copy of the book. I love the crispness in the air, the smell. It's tailgate weather and although I am not a huge football fan, that smell, that crispness takes me back to a time before my husband and I were married and he would take me to St. Louis to watch the Rams play. It was always such an adventure and so much fun.
Yay - congrats! I love having a reason to buy pumpkin spice scented candles in the Fall. Also, there is a sense of excitement in the air that stems from my memories of first days of school :-)
Congrats on the book, it looks great!
I love wearing turtleneck sweaters again.
Congratulations on the beautiful book.
Just one thing? I love visiting the apple orchards.
Fall makes me always want to drink hot chocolate.
Fall is my favorite season. To pick one thing is hard. I love a crisp Fall morning with all the beautiful colors on the trees... My son turns 3 this October...he would be my favorite part of Fall :)
Congratulations on the new book. It must be exciting. I just love all the fall colors.
i love fall cooking...stews, pot roast, soups. and here in new england, that means lots of apple recipes too! congrats on the beautiful book!
Fall seems to have such a distinct scent. Living in the South we don't get as much of a Fall season and I do miss it.
Congrats Paige! I love fall because of Husker football and being able to eat chili and cinnamon rolls!
I love the return of heirloom apples, butternut squash, and the crisp fall air. It makes me feel slightly wistful, with all of nature preparing to sleep, but alive at the same time, energized to finish all my prepwork before winter creeps in.
