I'm still working on editing this session, but really wanted to get a sneak peek up for Carmen while she waits! I'm so excited about these photos because we did a more "urban" shoot at her request. It's fun for me to shake things up a bit, so I was thrilled to do a session in a unique location like this small town's downtown.

and it instantly reminded me of one I took of them when baby Tyson was a newborn:

It's kind of freaking me out how similar they are! The colors and positions are exactly the same!!

I hope everyone had a great Halloween! John and I laid low, carved pumpkins and ate handed out candy. This was one of the only years I can remember that I didn't dress up in a costume. But there's always next year! I better start planning now.

I'm so excited to show off some photos from a maternity session I did recently. And if you live in Omaha, you will likely recognize the mommy-to-be as WOWT news anchor Jaime McCutcheon. She and her husband wanted some pictures to capture this exciting time in their lives.

I recently got to take pictures of my friend Courtney's brand new baby boy! She and her husband waited a long time for Colin to come, and Courtney spent many weeks on bedrest to ensure that he was healthy.

Colin's daddy is a proud firefighter, so we had to get a picture with his helmet. Very cool.

What a cutie!

Thank you to Colin's mom and dad for introducing me to your little guy. He's a lucky boy.

I just received this adorable little tutu from my friend Linda. She makes them herself and was so generous to make this one for me to use at photo sessions! I'm very impressed at how beautifully made it is. Now I just need to find a baby girl who wants to wear it during their photo session. I think it would be perfect for a 6-18 month old baby.

It's even my favorite color and matches my logo : )
